美国420万美元用于特拉基河水租赁

芬利--2010年，当地政府将印第安人部落内的皮拉米德湖的水租赁协议投资飙升到420万美元。

按照协定，这一部落将获得芬利的特拉基河地表用水权。

芬利与国家工程师办公室共同提出一个临时性的改革，用以改变城市用水权的适用地区和利用方式。

特拉基灌区项目经理Rusty Gardine表示，过去灌区反对调水工程，且这一问题一直存在，因为调水是从特拉基河调出水源。

Gardine还说“这一改革书写了特拉基工程用水的重要篇章”从根本上影响了芬利地区的调水系统。

Fernley to receive $4m IN WATER DEAL

FERNLEY-- The city is anticipating receiving up to $4.2 million from the federal government for its 2010 water lease agreement with the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe.

Under the agreement, the tribe will obtain Fernley"s Truckee River surface water rights.

For its part, the city will file a temporary change application with the State Engineer"s Office to change the place and the manner of use of the city"s water rights.

Truckee Carson Irrigation District Project Manager Rusty Gardine said that in the past, the irrigation district opposed the water transfer and continues to have the same issues with the temporary transfer because it takes water out of the project.

A "significant volume of water will be taken for the project," Gardine added, and it ultimately impacts the water delivery system in the Fernley area.
